What is the best method to using mascara?

I never seem to use it right. The brand that I have currently is Cover Girl Professional Waterproof Mascara Hydrofuge. It's in a blue tube.

First, FYI: I wouldn't use waterproof for everyday. It will dry out your lashes, and then they can fall out.





A good brand to try is Maybelline's Great Lash, in a pink and green tube. Cover Girl has great formulas, too!





The best way to lenghten and thicken your lashes is all in technique:





First, take your wand horizontally, and put it at the base of your top lashes. Wiggle the brush back and forth as you ease it up towards the tips of your lashes. This step gets mascara at the base of your lashes, and creates thick, luscious lashes.





Second, take your wand vertically, and comb the top lashes straight up. This step lengthens and actually curls your lashes.

Put the brush near your eyelashes close to the roots of your eyelashes. Blink on it a few times, until your satified. For me my eyes looks long and makes me eyes bigger. But thats just for any mascara, i'm sure it'll be fine with any type.

tilt your head slightly down then look in the mirror and apply like normal use the right hand for the right eye and the left hand for the left eye that should help
