What mascara will really make my lashes darker and longer again?

I have been using Mabyeleinne(or however you spell it) water proof mascara and it made my lashes lighter and shorter. I want my old dark, long lashes back. which brand is best? What mascara will really make my lashes darker and longer again?
Today my friend let me use her makeup and she had this stuff that worked better than mines.

I put on two coats of the clear stuff and one of the black. It made my lashes really long and pretty. Also if you want them dark read the labels in the corner and get very black or charcol black or w/e.
