How do you get out mascara out of sheets?

I have sheets that have black marks and make up on white and tan sheets at work the hotel I work for. how can i get it out we have been loosing so many. We are to use what they give use to use but if I can come up with something that works maybe they will use it to save moneyHow do you get out mascara out of sheets?

When your mascara doesn't stay on your eyes, but instead finds its way to your favorite shirt, pillowcase or sheets, there is a solution. Get those pesky mascara stains out using a few simple solutions to pre-treat the stain. Even if it's already washed in, the mascara stain can still be removed.





Step 1-Put a small amount of dry-cleaning solution on a sponge, and gently dab at the stain to lift it from the material.





Step 2-Mix a 1 tsp. mild laundry detergent with 1 cup of warm water. Put on sponge and blot mascara stain with solution. Use a second sponge with water only to blot after, and repeat the steps until the stain has lifted.





Step 3-Use rubbing alcohol on a sponge, and blot the stain until it lifts. Rinse the sponge with water, and blot with the water filled sponge to rinse thoroughly.





Step 4-Make a solution with 1 tbsp. ammonia and 1/2 cup water. Blot this solution on the stain, and rinse with water. Repeat several times to remove the mascara.
Most make-up requires some thorough attention to remove. Mascara contains charcoal...weird huh! Use pre-wash solution to remove the mascara (You can find the solution at walmart, krogers, etc). Spray on the sheets agitate and leave them alone! After the pre-wash has worked wash the sheets in HOT water. The stains should be gone. If not, you can bleach if the sheets are white or purchase some commercial grade make-up remover.
Try Goo-Gone! It's the greatest thing and gets out the hardest of stains.
