What is the best mascara to curl lashes?

I have fairly long lashes but they are straight which really bugs me! I currently use eyelash curlers and maybelline great lash mascara and thats always worked a treat but after about an hour the effect wears off and my lashes go straight again so you can't tell i'm wearing mascara! Can anyone reccommend a really good (but not too expensive) mascara that will curl my lashes and hold the curl instread of my lashes going straight again after about an hour? I use L'Or茅al Paris Volume Shocking Black Mascara it really works. But might depend on the texture of lashes.
try using the curler for an extra 20 seconds
Try using a self heating eyelash curler, the heat keeps you lashes curled. (if you don't want to use a self heating curler, try using a blowdryer to heat up the eyelash curler you already have.)

I am known as the eyelash queen... the mascara pro!! It doesn't matter which mascara you use, it's how you apply it, try holding a hand held mirror, way down, so you have to look down in order to see in the mirror, this way when you apply the mascara you actually have to pull your eyelashes in an UPWARD position, apply 3-4 coats... good luck!
i suggest going to the drug store and getting an eyelash curler that way u can use same mascara and have really nicely curled eyelashes
i use multiplying i think its maybleen and a good eyelash curler which even the generic ones are good. you can get it at your local target or walmart or walgreens or anywhere pretty much
