ok so here's the secret to all these crazy mascara brands.


cheap to crazy expensive, the trick is in the BRUSH.


formula is formula.





if you want length you have 2 options.


- if your lashes are long, the Rimmel mascara [red tube]


is awesome. i have pretty long lashes %26amp; this lengthens them to the point where people ask if i have falsies!


%26amp;%26amp; the best part its only like 8 bucks. =]


** you want a brush that is long %26amp; skinny, fat brushes are for volumizing %26amp; if you have tiny lashes all you will get is clumps :(





-if your lashes are not so long, avoiddddd biggggg brusheees!!


tiny ones are the best, they reach the roots %26amp; pull outwards giving you maximum length.


one i highly recommend is Cliniques' lash power.


it has a tiny brush %26amp; will reach all the lashes and will not clumps.


**bonus: comes off with just warm water, no makeup remover needed =]

I have been using Define-A-Lash by Maybelline, the waterproof one. It does lengthen lashes and doesn't smudge, but it feels kind of ';waxy'; so it's not really a good mascara for layering.





I've heard amazing things about Covergirl's LastBlast so you should try that one out for sure. Many people recommend it over any higher-end mascara.

I also wanted long black lashes and I had my lashes tinted which was painless and took less than half an hour and then I still wear mascara. I only buy the chanel one when I have extra cash flow cause its expensive but truth be that the maybelline one is just as good. Great for separating lashes as well.
