How can I get a set in Mascara stain out of my Towels?

Not for certain how long the stain has been set in. I just started noticing the stains within the past month. Any suggestions would be helpful. I have used oxy clean and tide (towels are soaking right now) and I am not for sure if it's working.How can I get a set in Mascara stain out of my Towels?
Things You鈥檒l Need:


Sponge


Dry-cleaning solution


Laundry detergent


Water


Rubbing alcohol


Ammonia


Step1Put a small amount of dry-cleaning solution on a sponge, and gently dab at the stain to lift it from the material.


Step2Mix a 1 tsp. mild laundry detergent with 1 cup of warm water. Put on sponge and blot mascara stain with solution. Use a second sponge with water only to blot after, and repeat the steps until the stain has lifted.


Step3Use rubbing alcohol on a sponge, and blot the stain until it lifts. Rinse the sponge with water, and blot with the water filled sponge to rinse thoroughly.


Step4Make a solution with 1 tbsp. ammonia and 1/2 cup water. Blot this solution on the stain, and rinse with water. Repeat several times to remove the mascaraHow can I get a set in Mascara stain out of my Towels?
I would use shout stain remover, but if you have already washed and dried the towels then you most likely wont get the stain out. Also maybe look into using non waterproof mascara that will also take care of the problem. Hope that this helps.

Try using mascaras that are two sided. One side has a lenghtening and thickening side while the other side is the mascara. They really do work. I think mine is Revlon. Try it.
I have really think eyelashes but they are really short. My mom got this mascara from Estee Lauder (i get my at Elder-Beernans and the most i paid is like $25/tube but it really lasts) and it it called MagnaScopic. It really works! I mean my eyelashes are so long and it never clumps. It really lenghens and adds a little volume but not a lot. The mascara almost makes my eyes look like fake eyelashes but not like the kind that are all yucky and just stick on. Like nice ones that last all day! It used to come in navy blue which i liked because i have blue eyes, but they discontinued that. So it only comes in brown or black. I use black because i like the dark, mysterious effect. I started wearing it on my lower lashes as well and then using a navy, black, or dark purple eyeliner (liner on the bottom only) and everyone is like ';Oh i love your eyes';. So try that and good luck!

I reccomend Maybelline Great Lash in waterproof, it lasted me the entire time i was swimming in The Carribbean..:) As for the eyeliner I'd also reccomend Maybelline's Great Wear eyeliner. For mascara, I love jane. hi-fiber waterproof mascara. I got it at Walgreens for about 4 dollars. It works really well and I go swimming with it on all the time and it doesn't run.

There are three different mascaras that are supposed to do this. CoverGirl Exact Eyelights Mascara, Almay Intense I-Color Bring-out, and Almay Intense I-Color Play-up. All three of these are supposed to bring out your natural eye color. They are made for blue eyes, green eyes, hazel eyes, and brown eyes.

honestly -- i think if you want to make your green eyes stand out, use light colors. use brown instead of black, eyeshadow that are shades of gold blended with green. looks pretty. Dark colors dont make blue or green eyes pop, its light complimenting colors that make them look oustanding.





unless you're going for the 'dark' look then stick to what you got and just use shades of grey eyeshadow? GL!

You will know it is empty because the brush will come out dry.





However, because eyes are so sensitive to bacterial infections, I wouldn't keep mascara for more than three months. After that, things could really start growing in there.

Good question. Im not sure either I guess you can tell its run out when it doesnt come out as when you first got it. I do know one thing though I think...I think I remember that you are only ment to keep mascara for two months

Um same thing happens to me, it doesnt mean we r dumb so dont feel bad! Usually i cannever figure it out , but when the brush strats getting sticky and dry and clumpy. When its not so wet anymore and when you put it on there is not much shown on your lashes.
usually when it starts getting dry. try to change it every 6 months depending on the brand and if it is waterproof or regular.
Well if it is empty the mascara won't come off of the brush, and if it is really old it will be flaky and dry. I always throw out mascara over 3 months old regardless of it is still full. It can damage your eyes if it is too old.
